well, the first weekend in LAIE came and went...

lexi parry, thank goodness i have her, if not i would probably stay in my sweaty room crying all day long.
her and i decided to hit the beach, BIKINI BEACH to be exact, its like a block from my house.
we walk over and find the coolest pathway down to the beach.
we laid out a little. swam a little. got rained on a little. it was great.
[FRIDAY EVENING]
lexi and i decided to go big for dinner. TACO BELL. LAIE specialty. and man was it delicious? it really was. seriously. my roomates esther and alesha came along. lexi's cousin ashley and her husband lindon were there too, so we chatted with them and then they invited us to a bonfire. finally something eventful right? ya guess again.. we picked up lexi's roommate kayla and her cousin on the way and headed over to the RED HOUSE. we kind of had a hard time finding it and we eventually did, but let's just say it was super super super awkward. we didn't know a soul, so we ended up leaving kinda early. oh well at least we did something. right?

slept in. headed to BIKINI BEACH again, its nice. not too many people. very peaceful.

as we're chillin at the beach i get a text from matt that says he is at WAIMEA BAY. that had been our original plan, so lexi and i decided to go and meet him. we got stuck in traffic and had to part a mile away, and when we finally finished our hike to the beach i get a text from matt that says he is leaving. so much for having friends again. so lex and i parked our towels out and chilled at WAIMEA alone. we did some major people watching/conversation listening and scoped out everyone we knew, let me rephrase that, "recognized" from BYUH.
[SATURDAY AFTERNOON]
heading into HONOLULU to hit up the wal-mart for some bikes with riley olsen. we end up taking her sister shannon back with us because she lives right across the street from wal-mart. we buy some bikes yadeyada. check this out though, doug isn't wrong about those honda elements.... you can fit anything in there.

the wal-mart we went to in HONOLULU was right by the ala moana mall, so we walked over and had some dinner at bubba gumps, it was terrible. never go. we dropped shannon off and headed back to LAIE.
lexi sent me a text while i was driving home that said there was a dance party, but then she went and it was dumb. so alesha, esther and i played some bananagrams. actually more fun than i thought...
[SUNDAY]
8am church. weird ward. kinda lame.
that pretty much sums it up.
we hung out all day. my roommates planned an ice cream party, but i didn't have any friends or ice cream to contribute so i rode my bike to pick up lexi and we headed to mcdonald's. got us some mcflurrys and snuggled with ronald...
lexi and headed back to my roach infested house to join the party, consisting of, julie(roomate) and her three friends, josh, cody and rachel, esther(roommate), alesha(roommate) and madi and her boyfriend richard.
we all played some games and the party ended around 10:30. oops broke the rules!!
that sums up the lovely weekend, not too much excitement. still no friends.
